Welcome,

I am happy to say that I had a wonderful trip out to Dubbo and back. The country side is so green and pretty at the moment. If you get a chance over Easter or the next school holiday break then why not take a road trip out to Gulgong, Mudgee or Dubbo and take a peek at our beautiful country.

This was my first year at the Dubbo Craftalive show and what a wonderful time I had.

I caught up with shoppers that I had met throughout 2012 and made new friends and of course spent time with my brother and his family.

There were lots of ideas and projects to choose from including Quilting, paper crafts and embroidery.

Robyn, from “Robyn’s Creative Sewing threads was there with her beautiful work.

and Anne from Piccaninni Patchwork was also there with some great bargains.

Miss Elizabeth and her friends enjoyed their first outing and were very well received indeed.

Thank you everyone for a lovely weekend.

The fabric has been rolling in thick and fast over the past 2 weeks and I have finally got all of it on the website.

There are lovely new soft and pretty florals, checks and stripes as well as shirtings and reproduction fabrics and these can all be found at the “Just Arrived” page online.

I have been busy updating the fabric pages of the website and hopefully choosing your fabrics will now be a little easier for you with new catagories.

Muted Florals

all of these catagories can be reached by clicking on

Welcome,
Here we are and it is already midway through January. I hope the rest of the year doesn’t disappear so quickly as I have so much to do!
Last week we had a terribly hot day ( I hate the heat) here and to put a smile on my face the delivery man knocked on my door and left me a box of lovely new fabrics from Moda.
Now these fabrics were meant to be here in December and I do apologise to those ladies who pre-ordered fabric but somethings are just beyond my control.
Anyway they are here now and these fabrics are just as lovely as I thought they would be!
“Dancing in the Rain” by Laundry Basket Quilts provides a selection of old world fabrics in blue, cream, butterscotch and a lovely terracotta with just a tinge of pink to it….I can’t wait to use these.
“Old Glory Gatherings” by Primitive Gatherings are two fabrics that just fit perfectly with “Dancing in the Rain”. You couldn’t have asked for 10 more lovely fabrics.
All of these fabrics are now available so click here to purchase.
Special Offer.
Buy the combined fat 1/8th pack of “Dancing in the Rain” and “Old Glory Gatherings” and save 20%.
There are only 20 packs available so be quick.
