I have been busy with making a new quilt for Homespun Magazine using bright Kaffe fabrics on a white background. This has been a big departure for me from the usual Yuwa and reproduction fabrics.
This project was a real test for me, pushing me out of my comfort zone and I must say I have really enjoyed it. So much so that I have since made another quilt using similar fabrics that will be on sale at the Australasian Quilt Convention in Melbourne beginning the 29th April 2010…..Look out for “Indiana” at the show. I will also post a peek at this new quilt and other projects later in the week.
Here is a sneek peek at what you can expect from my new project “Bella” for Homespun Issue 11/11 on sale in November.

So start collecting those Kaffe and other bright fabrics for this lovely quilt for that special girl in your life.

Those fabrics look fabulous ! I love Kaffe Fassett patterns and bright coloured quilts I saw in one of his books. I look forward to seeing more of this beautiful quilt you are sewing right now. Thanks a lot for visiting my blog and leaving such warm comments
Hi you can view the finished quilt…”Bella” published on this BLOG 11th September 2010. Thankyou for your comments
